Dear Friends and Colleagues,

It is a great honour and pleasure for us to invite you cordially to participate in the 10th Congress on Trends in Medical Mycology (TIMM-10), which will be held in October 8-11th, 2021 at Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre, Aberdeen, Scotland, United Kingdom.
TIMM-10 is organized by the European Confederation of Medical Mycology (ECMM). The TIMM 2021 will mark the 10th anniversary of the TIMM series of meetings and we are looking forward to work together with our colleagues in the British Society of Medical Mycology, represented in the local organizing committee and the members of the scientific organizing committee, to present to you an attractive scientific and social program celebrating this 10th anniversary.

Over the last 2 decades, TIMM has established itself as an important and valuable meeting in the field of medical mycology, attracting around 1000 colleagues. TIMM has become a forum in which scientists and clinicians from all over the world present the latest advances and research findings in medical mycology combined with the provision of targeted educational workshops. TIMM-10 will cover new fascinating insights into the biology of fungal pathogens, intriguing host-fungus interactions, updated diagnostic and therapeutic management approaches, changing dynamics in clinical epidemiology, as well as the emergence of antifungal resistances and newly discovered fungal pathogens.

The meeting is designed for medical mycologists, medical microbiologists, (paediatric) infectious diseases specialists, (paediatric) haematologists, transplant physicians, immunologists, scientists in medical mycology, and all those with an interest in medical mycology.
Don’t miss the opportunity to commemorate the 10th anniversary of Trends in Medical Mycology and also experience a warm and welcoming Scottish culture. Whether it’s visiting a historic castle, toasting to locally crafted world-renowned whisky, or attending
a dance in local costume, Scotland’s cultural delights will make the TIMM-10 anniversary celebrations special and memorable.

Therefore, we warmly invite you to TIMM-10, to visit Aberdeen, and to enjoy with us excellent world-leading science in a beautiful and enchanting part of the north of Scotland.
